Identity Verification is defined by Gartner as “the combination of activities during a remote interaction that brings a real-world identity claim within organizational risk tolerances. Identity verification capabilities, delivered as SaaS or on-premises, provide the assurance that a real-world identity exists and that the individual claiming the identity is its true owner and genuinely present during a remote interaction.”
Veridas stood out among others as a leading vendor with sophisticated technology. Veridas is a Spanish technology company founded by the startup Das-Nano and Spanish BBVA bank in 2017. The company specializes in identity verification and biometric authentication solutions and has a strong portfolio of clients, such as Deutsche Telekom, Cabify, Ameriabank, Repsol, Codere, and more.
Veridas’s biometric authentication solution will be integrated into Connect, Logate’s omnichannel contact center software.
We will cover two use cases:
- digital onboarding, which will enable our clients to enable their clients to perform all of their activities online, which include opening an account and getting a loan
- voice biometrics – which will enable our clients to automatically identify their customers when they call for a service, by voice recognition
