What is Network X?
Network X is Europe’s most comprehensive telco conference, gathering several telco events (Broadband World Forum, 5G World, Telco Cloud, WGC EMEA) under a single umbrella with a goal to cover the most recent telco topics within a single event. It is organized by Informa Tech, a tech part of Informa, a leading international events, digital services and academic knowledge group.
Previously held in other major European cities, this year, Network X came to Paris, France, where it took place in Porte de Versailles, from 24. to 26. October 2023.
What topics were covered?
Having converged several events focused on different access technologies and hot topics of the telco world, Network X covered a comprehensive set of areas:
- Fixed Networks – exploring current growth drivers and monetization opportunities within fixed networks space. The spotlight was on the topics of Connected Smart Homes, Green Fibre and ESG, and Fibre in general.
- Mobile Networks – discussing the future paths for 5G monetization, from convergence to private enterprise networks and the shift of telcos to the B2B markets. Key topics covered included 5G RAN evolution, 5G enterprise solutions and 5G standalone.
- Telco Innovation – diving deep into the latest technologies and innovations including telco cloud strategy, edge computing, cybersecurity and AI. Keywords on the innovation stages included: Telco transformation, Public, hybrid and multi-cloud, AI and automation.

Exhibition attendees were able to enjoy major product updates, demonstrations and releases from some of the biggest telco technology vendors such as Nokia, Plume, AVM, Mavenir, Huawei, ZTE, China Telecom and Broadband Forum amongst the 160+ exhibitors!
Logate’s role at Network X
Logate telco team, comprising our Strategy Lead Ivica Tatar, Product Lead Danilo Mišović and Marketing Lead Maša Miladinović, participated in Network X with the aim of presenting our telco suite to the European and wider telco market and connecting with relevant industry stakeholders.
Logate team made acquaintances with representatives from over 100 companies including telecoms and system integrators from over 30 countries in Europe, North America, Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa, thus paving the way to new partnerships, collaborations and knowledge exchange opportunities across markets.
These interactions proved once again the immense value of face to face interactions in the realm of international business.
Our team presented our telco suit consisting of OpenProvider Core Network Functions for software-defined telecoms and an enterprise grade email system designed for efficiency and scalability in telecoms – OpenMX.

The value of face to face client and partner relationship
Network X and similar events have another aspect to them that is easily overlooked, and that is the space that they give to meet face to face with our clients and partners.
We were happy enough to spend three refreshing and inspiring days meeting our esteemed partners and clients, carving space and time that we otherwise could harder create, to learn more about their day to days, their cultures and a sense of vision that they have for the industry.
Among others, we met our partners from Odine, in Turkey, with whom we shared excitement for the upcoming mutual projects. Next, we met our long term clients and collaborators from Hrvatski Telekom, with whom we shared an experience of the French cuisine. Finally, we met leaders from Cetin group, with a shared vision of digital transformation of core networks and a love for coffee during exhibition hours.
What is next?
Ending the event with firmer existing relationships and the bright beginning of new relationships, we are happy to have gotten recognized in 2023 as a rising new player in international markets that brings innovation, fresh perspectives and enables more agility and flexibility to telecoms on one hand, and a reliable partnership to vendors and integrators on the other.
We are excited to continue the trend of forging relationships in 2024 and cannot wait to see what they bring.
